Lab #7 Instructions

  • Create two maps of a data set of your choice that are somehow related to the 2010 Winter Olympic games in Vancouver, BC.
  • One map is to be based on choropleth techniques (i.e., shading polygons) .
  • The other is to use symbols to represent variations and differences in values.
  • Your maps must contain at least 20 data points (e.g, countries, states, counties).
  • Must also be self-explanatory (i.e., provide sufficient contextual information on your maps to facilitate interpretation).
